Event Description

From the event page:

Climate solutions aren’t driven by data and policy alone – they’re ignited by people. By place. By the lived experiences that turn urgency into action.

Join Grist for an unforgettable evening where climate impact steps off the page and into real life. Through powerful, personal storytelling, you’ll hear from three people redefining environmental journalism, advancing justice, and driving bold solutions for our future.

The night will feature storytelling performances from Naveena Sadasivam (Senior Staff Writer, Grist) and Yurok attorney, activist, and author Amy Bowers Cordalis (Executive Director, Ridges to Riffles), and a dynamic conversation with Alex Honnold, professional rock climber, environmental advocate, and founder of the Honnold Foundation alongside Katherine Bagley (Editor in Chief, Grist).

Together, they’ll share the pivotal moments that shaped their paths: the risks taken, the convictions tested, the turning points that changed everything. Through stories of challenge, conviction, and transformation, this event explores how values become action, how movements take root in communities, and why lived experience remains one of the most powerful catalysts for climate solutions.

The event is supported by Patagonia and The Wilderness Society.
